great second home, weekend place. - 1/17/2017
Smallwood is magical, without the price tag of it's neighboring hamlets. Close enough to go every weekend (paddle board in tow) and breath in the fresh air and see actual starry nights. Close enough to great culture (and coffee) without being too over the top (ie, spending $20 for that artisan bread) the people are and eclectic bunch. So if you can't afford the Hamptons OR the Hudson River Valley, (and really do not want the Jersey Shore or the Poconos) take a look, you will not be sorry. It will not be a secret forever.
